PRIVACY

What we collect, plainly.

This policy covers onideck.com and the free audit tool. It describes what actually happens to your data, not what is theoretically permitted.

Last updated 24 July 2026

The short version

We collect the contact details you type into the audit form, and we store a copy of the ad export file you upload along with the summary metrics we calculate from it. We use Google Analytics. We do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising or retargeting pixels on this site.

Information you give us

To unlock a finished audit report we ask for your name, email address, business name, business category, and a monthly revenue band. We store these so we can send you the report and follow up about your account. If you email us, we keep that correspondence.

If we have connected a CRM, these form details are also forwarded to it so our team can respond. We do not pass them to advertisers, data brokers, or list vendors.

Files you upload to the audit

The audit accepts a CSV or spreadsheet export from your Meta or Google Ads account. Two things happen to it:

  • It is parsed in your browser to produce the audit you see on screen. The analysis itself runs on your device.
  • A copy of the file is also uploaded to our storage (Cloudflare R2), so we can reproduce and check the audit when we speak to you. Please treat this as us receiving the file.

These exports normally contain campaign names, spend, impressions, clicks and conversions. They are not intended to contain customer lists or personal data about your customers — please do not upload files that do.

Your audit report link

Saved reports get a shareable URL containing a random id. That link is not password protected: anyone who has it can open the report. Share it deliberately, and ask us to delete it when you are done with it.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used — pages viewed, rough location, device and browser. Google sets its own cookies to do this. We do not use these for advertising audiences.

The site also stores two values in your browser's local storage: one remembering that a report has been unlocked, and one holding audit settings you have adjusted. These stay on your device and you can clear them through your browser.

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address as part of serving them.

Where it is stored

Contact details and audit summaries are stored in our Postgres database. Uploaded files are stored in Cloudflare R2. Both are access-controlled and reachable only by our team and the application.

How long we keep it

We keep audit reports, uploaded files, and contact details until they are no longer needed for the conversation they came from, or until you ask us to delete them — whichever comes first. Deletion requests are honoured for all three.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to privacy@onideck.com and we will action it. If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
